This matter is before the court on Appellants petition for rehearing. The original panel has voted to deny rehearing. The petition therefore is denied. The original opinion has been amended, however, to clarify our holding that Mr. Cooks waived his right to counsel under both the Fifth and Sixth Amendments. The amended opinion is attached to this order; all revisions are found under the heading "I. Admissibility of Post-Arrest Statements." The attached opinion is substituted for the one previously filed on October 28, 1998. The amended opinion will reissue this date.
